VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (September 12, 2022) – Regent University has again been named a “Top Tier” institution by US News and World Report on his Ranking of the best colleges 2022-2023.
American News assessed a record 1,500 U.S. bachelor’s degree-granting institutions before placing Regent in the top 20% of those measured. Colleges ranked #1 through #317 were considered the top national universities, and Regent was among that group, among universities like Princeton, MIT, Harvard, Stanford, and Yale. Regent received similar recognition from American News for 2019, 2020, 2022 and now 2023.

Best Undergraduate Computer Science Programs (308-537 Level)
This ranking was determined by a peer review of deans and faculty members of computer science departments across the United States who rated the academic quality of computer science programs at peer institutions.
Top Performers on Social Mobility Among National Universities (#56)
The Social Mobility Ranking measures the extent to which schools enroll and graduate students who receive Federal Pell Grants. Regent’s ranking has increased significantly, from 100 last year to 56 this year.
Best Students in Ethnic Diversity on Campus Among National Universities
American News recognized Regent as a college where students are likely to encounter undergraduates from different racial or ethnic groups. American News formulated a diversity index identifying the proportion of minority students enrolled in an institution.
The Best Colleges Ranking rates colleges and universities on a total of 17 measures of academic quality, including student retention, student graduation rates, class size, faculty resources, student ratio – teachers, etc.
