Recover the Academy of Arts features a staging of “Moana Jr.” from Disney. April 28-30. Performances are at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, 901 La Ventana Drive in Marble Falls.

The tickets are $7 in advance online and $10 at the door. Children 3 and under enter for free.

Cast, crew and directors have been working on the play since January.

“We’re so excited to present this show because it’s unlike anything we’ve done before because the cast IS the setting,” director Amy Stubblefield said in a press release for the school. “It’s the ocean, the boats, even the palm trees. It was a fun challenge to bring this show to life in a unique way. I think our audience will enjoy the way we chose to tell the story.

Reclaim Arts Academy is a self-funded branch of Marble Falls First Baptist Church that teaches children the arts in a Christ-centered environment. For more information, visit his website.
