dr. Elizabeth Grady Branch is a proud mother, grandmother, educator and faith-based author. Born in deep abject poverty East Texasshe graduated from Fred Douglass High School in Jacksonville. She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Jarvis Christian College (now University), a master’s degree in University of Southern Texasand a Ph.D. in Northern Education Texas State University (now University of North Texas).
