Dorothy Mae Holloran, 96, died in eternal life on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022. She was born December 28, 1925, to Robert J. and Eunice Listerman in Pueblo, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Holloran; and his daughter-in-law, Mary Holloran. She is survived by three sons, Thomas (Susan) of Castle Rock, Colorado, Richard (Alane) of Meridian, Idaho, and Patrick (Allison) of Carbondale, Colorado; five grandchildren, Josh, Zach, Megan, Nick, Dan; two great-grandchildren, Rhya Mae and Frida MarLynn; and several nieces and nephews. The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. May 3 at First Presbyterian Church, 220 W. 10th Street, Pueblo. Dorothy graduated from Centennial High School in 1943. She trained as a nurse through the Cadet Nurse Corp. at Parkview Hospital during World War II and graduated in 1946. She married Joseph Holloran in 1947 and worked as a registered nurse for several years. She enjoyed their summer home in Beulah for many years. She was blessed with a long and happy life! She was an active member of the First Baptist Church for 70 years until it closed in 2016. She was also a member of PEO Chapter F and the Beulah Historical Society. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to the Beulah Fire Dept. & EMT, or to any charity of your choice.
