LAHORE: The Computer Science Department of Forman Christian College (an accredited university) Lahore recently organized and successfully hosted its annual COMPSPEX 2022 event.

According to a press release, during the event, final year students presented their projects and posters for evaluation and competition. Senior IT project exposure has been a practice of the FCCU IT Department for many years. This time it was organized on a large scale where faculty, staff and students from various departments were also invited. In the exhibition, there were about 25 highly innovative software projects overseen by various FCCU faculty members. The projects came from the fields of natural language processing, IoT, blockchain, machine learning, computer vision, image processing, artificial intelligence, games, web, mobile application development, etc. For the evaluation of the projects, external examiners were invited from several universities. Students received positive feedback from external reviewers for their projects. Aamir Chaudhary, head of the Business Improvement department of NETSOL Technologies was invited as a guest of honor to honor the event with his presence. At the closing ceremony, FCCU Rector, Dr. Jonathan Addleton addressed the students praising their innovative, exceptional and challenging work done to achieve their goals.
